30-Day Return Window
Return or refund requests under our voluntary return policy must be submitted within 30 days of the delivery date.
Unopened Products
Unopened products in their original condition may be returned for a refund of the product purchase price, excluding original shipping charges.
To start a return, please contact us at hello@cotinewyork.com with your order number. We will provide return instructions.
Final approval follows receipt and inspection of the returned item.
Opened Products
If you have tried a product and are not satisfied, please contact us at hello@cotinewyork.com with your order number and a brief explanation. We will review your request individually. Refunds for opened products are not guaranteed.
Sale & Discounted Items
Sale and discounted items follow the same return conditions as regularly priced items.
Proof of Purchase
An order number, receipt, or other reasonable proof of purchase is required.
Return Shipping & Fees
Customers are responsible for return shipping costs for ordinary voluntary returns. We do not charge restocking fees for approved returns.
Damaged, Defective, or Incorrect Products
For products that arrive damaged, defective, or incorrect, please contact us with your order number and a description of the issue. We will review the issue and arrange an appropriate resolution at no additional cost to you.
Refund Timing
Approved refunds are initiated to the original payment method within 5–10 business days after final approval. Your payment provider may take additional time to post the refund to your account.
Abuse or Fraud
We reserve the right to limit or deny voluntary refund requests in cases of suspected abuse or fraud, subject to applicable law.
Your Legal Rights
Our 30-day return policy is voluntary and separate from refunds or remedies required by law. Nothing in this policy limits or overrides any non-waivable consumer rights, mandatory refund obligations, or other remedies available under applicable law. Any refund required by law will be processed within the applicable statutory deadline.
